While you can book an appointment without one, a valid referral from your GP is essential if you wish to claim a Medicare rebate for your consultation. A referral also provides Dr Holden with your relevant medical history, allowing for a more streamlined assessment.

Dr Holden operates at several locations depending on the procedure required and patient preference, including Waverley Private Hospital (Mount Waverley), Peninsula Private Hospital (Langwarrin), and Bass Coast Health (Wonthaggi).

Absolutely. Dr Holden is committed to supporting regional patients. Consultations can be managed at our Wonthaggi or Cowes clinics, and while certain procedures like egg retrieval occur at the Create Fertility lab in Mount Waverley, much of your cycle monitoring can often be coordinated closer to home.

Please bring your GP referral, any recent blood test results, and any relevant imaging reports (such as pelvic ultrasounds). If you are seeking fertility support, it is often helpful if your partner attends the initial consultation as well.
