Dr. Jessica Holden


Dr. Jessica Holden is an experienced obstetrician and gynaecologist dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Originally from Gippsland, she completed her medical degree at Monash University before undertaking specialist training with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG). Her training took her across Australia, including Monash Health, Cairns Base Hospital, South West Healthcare in Warrnambool, and Alice Springs Hospital, equipping her with a broad skill set in diverse clinical settings.

With a deep commitment to global health, Dr. Holden earned a Master of Public Health from the University of Melbourne and has volunteered extensively in Vanuatu, the Philippines, Pakistan, Thailand, Bangladesh, and South Sudan. Her experience in low-resource settings has strengthened her dedication to ensuring all women receive high-quality care, no matter their circumstances.

Dr. Holden has a special interest in endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, and fertility management. She is skilled in advanced laparoscopic surgery and also provides colposcopy, complex contraception counselling, and pelvic floor surgery. While highly experienced in minimally invasive procedures, she takes a holistic approach, tailoring care to each patient’s unique needs.

Alongside her clinical practice, Dr. Holden is the Medical Director of Medical Santo in Vanuatu and contributes to public obstetric services at Bass Coast Health in Wonthaggi. She remains committed to improving women’s health, both locally and internationally.

Presently Jessica provides obstetrics services publicly at Bass Coast Health and Peninsula Health only.
